Blu Best asd and Blue&Green Best were set up by Paolo Insolera and Maria Lucia Cossu in order to offer tourists and locals alike the opportunity to experience, in a unique way, the uncontaminated nature and most authentic Sardinian culture that the area has to offer.
THE GREAT BLUE, FREEDIVING AND SNORKELING
The sea bathing Cala Gonone and the Gulf of Orosei, always calm and dotted with natural landing spots protected from the winds, is particularly suitable for daily or longer cruises.
Our daily cruise conjugates various sports and activities (snorkeling, free diving, spearfishing, climbing, water sky, etc.) with the exploration of the most beautiful beaches and caverns of the Gulf. Among the most beautiful beaches of the area the ones that stand out are Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, Cala Biriola, Cala Mariolu, Cala dei Gabbiani, Cala Goloritze, Cala Cartoe, Cala Osalla. Among the caverns that plague the shore the ones that cannot be left out are the Bue Marino, the Gabbiani and the Fico.
Other beautiful natural places to be mentioned are the Pools of Venus, the Capo Monte Santu and the Peak of Niedda.
The longer cruises include the overnight on the sea, in comfortable sailboats, or on the land, camping on the beaches or in the nearby hinterland. One of the most appealing cruise is the 5 nights – 5 bays, which offers the chance to sleep in a different bay every night (Cala Goloritze – Cala Mariolu – Cala Biriola – Cala Sisine – Cala Luna).

Fishing from the boat is a fun activity for the whole family. Many are the techniques that can be performed in motion - trawler fishing of snappers and greater amberjacks – or in stillness – fishing line and vertical jigging.

The safeguard and the wealth of the sea are the corner stone of our philosophy. Since its foundation Blù Best collaborates with the Aquarium of Cala Gonone and with numerous universities and researchers, sharing with them our knowledge and our observations about the Gulf of Orosei.
