Le sorgenti

The "Cale delle Sorgenti" are two small beaches close to the beautiful Cala Goloritzè. During your day in the Gulf of Orosei, a stop off this paradise is a must to be able to admire its beauty.
The name "Le Sorgenti" derives from the presence of numerous freshwater resurgences that flow into the sea from the very white limestone wall and from the seabed. The water color, especially towards mid-morning until 1 pm, seems unnatural as it resembles that of a huge swimming pool.
The two bays are separated by some caves which can be reached by swimming; the presence of sulfur is recognizable inside them.
Approaching the "Sorgenti" by motor is prohibited and there is no approach corridor. However, stopping on the beach is not recommended due to the risk of falling rocks from the wall overlooking the beach, due to the passage of goats and wild animals.
Our advice, if you are embarking on a day on a dinghy, is to drop anchor at a safe distance (see the guide on dinghy rental), bring a camera and a mask to explore the caves and go swimming in these waters, which will leave an indelible memory of your holiday.
