Cala Fuili

Cala Fuili is a small bay that can be reached in 5 minutes from Cala Gonone, at the end of Viale Bue Marino. You'll can park your car above the panoramic promontory overlooking the beach, ideal for photography lovers. After a stone and juniper stairway, about a hundred steps, you'll reach the beach of coarse light gravel mixed with sand and stones with outcropping rocks.
The waters of Cala Fuili are transparent and crystal clear, the green of the vegetation offers a particular contrast of colors with the turquoise reflections of the sea. By swimming you can easily reach the numerous caves present in the southern and northern part of the cliff, close to the beach.
Cala Fuili can be considered the first beach morphologically attributable to the beauties of Ogliastra and very similar to all those that will be encountered proceeding towards the south of it, both in terms of transparency of the seabed and for the sheen of the limestone reflecting on the water.
The deep codula of Fuili with the dry river bed is an ideal destination for climbers and a starting point for the excursions in the hinterland, like theroute to Cala Luna.
