Feast of Nostra Signora del Mare

On the first weekend of July will take place two days dedicated to the most important religious festival in Cala Gonone.
The feast of "Our Lady of the Sea", organized by the "Our Lady of Bonaria" parish, consist of many recreational and religious events. Surely the most characteristic is the sea procession, where the boats depart from the port heading up north until the submerged statue of "Our Lady of the Sea"; here the divers rests it a wreath thrown into the water by the priest. Later, in the evening, the impressive show of fireworks will light up the clear waters of Cala Gonone, animated by the folk groups of "Don Milani" and "Montanaru".

The organizers would like to thank the City of Dorgali, the Cantina Sociale, the Cooperativa Pastori, the population of Dorgali and Cala Gonone, the Maritime Transport Consortium and the boats owners, the Municipal Police, the Harbourmaster and all Security Force, the Boat Club, Groups, Associations, Hoteliers, Restaurateur and Shopkeepers: through sponsorship and others several ways they always contribute to the success of the celebration.
