The leather shop of Sebastiana Fara and Gonario Carta Brocca is one of the
historical artisan workshops of Dorgali.
Their craftsmanship in the leather processing and the beauty of classic products joined with ongoing innovation make this shop one of the most interesting entity to visit during your holidays in Dorgali.
At Fara leather shop you'll find uniques clothing accessories, strictly handmade.
Collections include bags, bells and wallets with classic or modern lines of varied colors.
The bags are among the most finest pieces, to show off at every occasion. This shop represent the merge among tradition and innovation: here you'll see the finishing care and the resistance of their leather creations, especially for the typical products, frequently used by local people.
This is the case of "Taschedda", a brown leather backpack used by sheperds to carry supplies for their countryside work, that held them away from home for several days.
The male costume belt of Dorgali known as "Sa Chintorza" represents, as opposite, one of the most cherished pieces by collectors, because nowadays the hand-crafted version is hard to find.
The engraved portfolios of classic or creative colors will complete your skins tour of Dorgali.
You'll hardly go away from Fara leather without buying or falling in love with something.
Over the products handmade by Gonario Brocca and his wife, the Fara leather shop has some corners dedicated to the handicraft creations of Sardinian artists like pottery, traditional masks (Mamuthones, Merdules etc), cork manufacturing, wooden items and the unmissable knives.
The portal was created and developed with the intention to provide valuable support for those who decide to stay in Cala Gonone and Dorgali.

The Cala Gonone weather, mitigated by the seaproximity, is characterized by mild winters and warm dry summers.
As a result, also because of the shape of the area, it lends itself to various activities related to the sport, the main attraction that captures thousands of tourists each year, followed by crafts and local cuisine.
The characteristic wind of the area is the Mistral, which is manifested by irregular and variable winds gusts, conditioned by the gorges of the mountains in which is channeled and then reflected from the south-east.
